Meeting our son!

It was miracle watching all the families united with their children.
Like the expression you see on our little boys face, so was our day at the Transition home.  Mesfin had a hard day...which made it hard for us as well.  We think he is teething (hence the picture with my finger in his mouth), plus he was getting his medicals at the embassy in the morning so he received shots and was poked and prodded.  All the comotion was very upsetting to him.  Some of the most calm and special moments happened when we would walk him around the corner of the Transition home and it was just us.  He also loved it when Paul would sing to him.
There is so much more to say, but no words.
Tomorrow we go back and this time we get to take him with us.
We love him so much!
Love,
Holly

What a blessing to see your little guy in your arms! Remember to take it all in and enjoy every moment! I think the first couple of days are the hardest until the babies get used to you and the different surroundings!
We are praying for you all and know that the paperwork issue will be resolved quickly and you will be home soon with your sweet Mesfin!!!

Mel
